What We Do
Most Spanish villa roofs are clay terracotta tiles laid over timber rafters with limited underlayment. After 20–40 years, the underlayment fails, rafters can suffer from insect damage or moisture, and tiles slip or crack. Repairs done badly cost more than doing them right the first time.
We carry out full roof surveys (drone or scaffold), scope the actual structural work needed, and quote without padding. For full re-roofs we strip the existing tiles, replace damaged rafters and battens, install modern underlayment and insulation, and re-lay either the original tiles (cleaned) or new tiles matched to the original colour and profile.
Tile Sourcing
We source from Tejas Borja, La Escandella, and Cobert — Spanish manufacturers whose tiles match the look of original handmade terracotta. For listed or character properties we can source reclaimed antique tiles.
